RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF SERVICES

FREE RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF INSPECTION *
Factory applied RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof coverings wear over time and can also be subject to physical damage from tree branches, mold and mildew, ponding water, pollution, acid rain, etc.. The seam sealers used by the manufacturers shrink, become brittle, crack, and lift or separate from the components they are meant to seal in just a few months time eventually leading to leakage and costly water damage.

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems will come to your location and perform a "NO-OBLIGATION" detailed inspection of your metal, aluminum, fiberglass, EPDM, TPO, Alpha, BUR, or aftermarket coated RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof for free*, taking pictures of the overall condition and specific issues found. You will then be presented with the images and any recommendations for repairs or resurfacing along with a firm price quote good for 60 days.

RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE *
Because the RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof is out of view we tend to forget that the roof of the RV or mobile home needs to be cleaned, inspected and maintained on a regular basis or you could end up with water damage. The seam sealers used by the manufacturers shrink, become brittle, crack, and lift or separate from the components they are meant to seal in just a few months time. EPDM, TPO, and Alpha roof membranes only last about 10 years before they begin to rapidly deteriorate and are subject to physical damage from tree branches, mold, mildew, ponding water, pollution, acid rain, etc..

Factory RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer and non-shingle mobile home roofs should be washed, inspected and resealed where needed at least once a year (twice a year is preferable). Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems can perform this routine maintenance for you at reasonable rates.

If you wish to avoid this semi-annual maintenance then consider having Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems install one of our seamless roof membrane systems. No more caulking seams and washing is only needed for aesthetics and as needed to maintain the cooling effect of a white roof.

RV AIR CONDITIONER MAINTENANCE AND A/C INSULATION UPGRADE PACKAGE *
$200.00 per A/C unit (includes workmanship & materials)
Most RV air conditioners are reliable and long-lasting units if maintained properly. We all know that the foam filter needs to be cleaned every 2 - 4 weeks (depending on use), but did you know that the interior condenser fins and exterior evaporator fins need to be cleaned and that the fan shaft needs lubricating every few years to maintain peak performance?

RV air conditioners are notorious for not being able to keep your recreational vehicle cool enough when the outdoor temperatures really warm up. This is partly due to some basic flaws in the design. The manufacturers do not insulate the air box or the cooling lines. This is standard procedure for the manufacturers of home A/C units, why isn't it done on RV units? Another common problem is bent interior and/or exterior condenser coil fins.

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems can solve your major maintenance and inefficient cooling issues...

On the exterior we will remove the A/C cover, clean and straighten the evaporator fins, clean all other exterior A/C components making sure that the condensation pan hose is clear of debris and lubricate the cooling fan shaft, check all wire connections, and inspect tubing for any corrosion or coolant leaks. Next we will we will inspect the air box and seal any gaps with metal duct tape, then we will wrap the air box with custom-cut and fitted Reflectix reflective insulation, gluing the insulation down for a permanent upgrade. A removable/replaceable "window" will be made in the Reflectix so that the A/C manufacturers label can be accessed if that information is needed in the future. "doors" will be cut where needed for access to wiring and other components. After the outer air box is completed we will wrap the cooling line with A/C line insulation, drastically reducing cooling losses between the compressor and the condenser coil. Next we will line the interior of the A/C cover with more Reflctix reflective insulation creating two layers of insulation that will cut down on all points of exterior cooling losses.

For the interior we will remove the A/C fascia and thoroughly clean the interior of the air box, clean and straighten the condenser fins and upgrade the filter element. The fascia will be put back on and you will have an RV roof air conditioner that will operate at peak effeciency, keeping you and your family cool even on the hottest days!

Drew and Micki have done this A/C insulation upgrade to both of our A/C units ourselves and along with Reflectix reflective insulation on the windows, skylights and vents we are able to keep our 34' open-layout toyhauler (1 - 15,000 btu A/C, 1 - 13,000 btu A/C) very comfortable even on 120ºF days!

* RV A/C maintenance and a/c insulation upgrade package services are subject to your location being within 100 miles of Parker, Arizona. Further distances can be accommodated at $0.25 cents per extra mile.

RV WINDOW INSULATION INSTALLATION * (includes workmanship & materials)
$25.00 per operating window, $15.00 per stationary window, vent or skylight
Summer sun and heat in the southwest can be brutal! If you store your RV outside you can get significant interior surfface fading and/or warping even if you have blinds or shades! If your family is one of the brave ones that enjoys southwest summer camping, your A/C unit(s) may not be able to keep up during the afternoon heat.

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems can stop sun-fading and warping of your interior surfaces and can help summer campers keep cooler...

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems will custom cut Reflectix reflective insulation for each of your RVs' windows, vents and skylights. Each window that is able to be opened will still be fully functional, emergency escape windows will still function as intended without any extra steps needed for egress and screens will remain in place.

With all of the windows, skylights and vents of your RV insulated in this manner the interior of your RV becomes like a cave, and like a cave, it remains much darker and cooler than it would otherwise and prevents sun-fading and warping of interior surfaces.

Drew and Micki have Reflectix reflective insulation on each of our RVs' windows, vents and skylights and along with A/C insulation upgrades to both of our A/C units we are able to keep our 34' toyhauler (1 - 15,000 btu A/C, 1 - 13,000 btu A/C) very comfortable even on 120ºF days!

* RV window insulation installation services are subject to your location being within 100 miles of Parker, Arizona. Further distances can be accommodated at $0.25 cents per extra mile.

RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF SMALL LEAK REPAIRS *
If inspection and maintenance needs are ignored, water leaks can develop. Usually the first signs of water leaks will be drips during heavy rain and/or staining or swelling of the interior ceiling or walls. Once these problems are detected immediate repairs are needed to prevent major (costly) structural repairs.

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems has the expertise needed to track down leaking roof areas and perform expert long-lasting roof surface repairs at reasonable rates.

* RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof small leak repair services are subject to your location being within 100 miles of Parker, Arizona. Further distances can be accommodated at $0.25 cents per extra mile.

RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF MAJOR WATER DAMAGE REPAIRS *
If water leaks have been ongoing for any length of time they can lead to significant underlayment, insulation, wiring, vent, flashing, window, structural, and mold damage.

Desert Drew's RV Roof Systems has the expertise needed to locate damaged sections, remove the damaged portions and replace/rebuild to original dimensions and structural integrity. We will then apply one of our seamless roof membrane systems that will give you 10 or 20 year warranties/guarantees (depending on the system chosen) preventing future damages. My workmanship is guaranteed for the life of the system and is transferrable to future owners.

RV, CARGO TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER & MOBILE HOME ROOF SEAMLESS MEMBRANE SYSTEM APPLICATION *
As an Approved Applicator offering 3 long-lasting maintenance-free RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof seamless membrane systems you can be secure in the knowledge that your RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof is being repaired and/or completely resurfaced by a highly skilled craftsman with specific RV roof seamless membrane system training that will take the time to do the job right at a price that you can afford! The RV roof seamless membrane systems we offer have 10 or 20 year warranties/guarantees and all of my workmanship is guaranteed for the life of the system and is transferrable to future owners. I will help you chose the system that is right for your roof type, has the roof life expectancy that you desire, and fits within your budget.

"SEAMS AND PENETRATIONS ONLY" APPLICATION
If your budget does not allow for the cost of a "full seamless roofing system", we can do what is called a "seams and penetrations only" application. This process relies on the integrity of the existing surface covering but covers all seams and penetrations to eliminate the semi-annual re-caulking chores. Our workmanship will be guaranteed for 10 years, but unfortunately, the roofing system manufacturers will not warranty these types of installations until they are "converted" to a fully seamless membrane. Conversion to a fully seamless membrane, with a 10 or 20 year warranty, can be done at any time within the first 10 years with any of our systems.

* RV, cargo trailer, semi-trailer or mobile home roof seamless membrane system application services are subject to your location being within 100 miles of Parker, Arizona. Further distances can be accommodated at $0.25 cents per extra mile.
